1. Wafer Butterfly Valve

There is no flange on the valve body. Use stud bolts to penetrate the four connecting holes of the wafer butterfly valve, connect the valve between two pipe flanges, that is, two flanges clamp the butterfly valve in it, and then use bolts to fix the two flanges.

2. Lug Butterfly Valve

The connection of the lug butterfly valve is divided into two ways, one is through the pressure hole, and the installation method is the same as the butt butterfly valve, stability will be poor compared with the flange type connection; the second is the threaded hole type pressure hole, the installation method is different from the lug and flange type. At this time the pressure hole of the lug butterfly valve is equivalent to a nut, and the pipe flange connection, the bolt through the flange piece, directly tighten the lug butterfly valve.

The pressure hole of the lug butterfly valve can be tightened and the bolt at the flange end fixed with a nut. The flange end is fixed with a nut. The stability of such a connection is comparable to that of a flange butterfly valve.

The bolts paired with the wafer butterfly valves are relatively long and do not have flanges themselves, so generally do not install them at the end of the pipeline and downstream where they need to be dismantled because when the downstream flange is dismantled, the wafer butterfly valves will fall off so that the pipeline at both ends of the valve cannot work properly; and there is no such problem with the lug butterfly valve, the body has threaded screw holes, and when paired with the flange on the pipeline, it is connected with bolts and locked with nuts. So when one end is removed, it will not affect the operation of the other end.
