1. Silicone rubber seats offer excellent elasticity, providing a bubble-tight/zero-leakage seal. Silicone is heat-resistant (typically -50°C to +180°C / +200°C for short periods), ozone-resistant, and aging-resistant, making it suitable for applications requiring frequent switching while maintaining a reliable seal.
2. Silicone rubber is the most commonly used food-grade material, meeting food/pharmaceutical standards. It is non-toxic, odorless, and does not release harmful substances. It is commonly used in systems with high hygiene requirements, such as drinking water, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and bioengineering.
3. Two-piece body butterfly valves can be disassembled into upper and lower halves, connected by bolts, facilitating inspection and replacement of the valve seat, valve disc, or stem without completely disassembling the valve from the pipeline.
4. Silicone rubber withstands higher temperatures than EPDM/NBR, typically up to 180°C (slightly lower than PTFE), making it suitable for medium-to-high temperature applications such as hot water, steam condensate, and hot oil circulation, while also exhibiting excellent low-temperature performance (no embrittlement).
5. U-shaped butterfly valves have the same structural length (FTF) as wafer butterfly valves. They are suitable for piping systems with limited space but requiring high connection strength.
